Blair A’Hearn has a depth and breadth of experience and training that makes him uniquely able to make a powerful difference in your life or the life of your organization. He has been counseling individuals, couples and families for 25 years as a pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Blair's experience and expertise includes:

 

• counseled hundreds of individuals, couples and families over 25 years,

• has extensive development and experience in working on men's issues including sex addiction,

• has developed Career Fit, a career discernment process aligning career choice to one's particular personality, values and talents,

• was invited to train pastors and youth workers in the Japanese Evangelical Lutheran Church,

• helped churches of all sizes throughout the midwest develop and grow their ministries,

• has spoken to groups large and small across the United States on spirituality and wellness,

• for 12 years served as a presenter for Group Workcamps throughout the United  States and in Puerto Rico, 

• served as a coach and consultant to pastors and their churches in the areas of worship, strategic planning, staff relations and development, and pastoral wellness and effectiveness,

• wrote the book The God You’ve Always Wanted to Believe In, in which he suggests one’s wellness is directly associated with one’s perspective of God, 

• has expertise as a qualified administrator of the Meyers-Briggs personality assessment instrument for over 15 years, 

• has consultant training through the Alban Institute and Natural Church Development,

• is trained as a life coach through Coach Net,

• is  trained in the Circle of Life personal development model,

• is a certified mediator,

  In addition, Blair has written over 200 songs for worship and personal listening, producing three CDs of original Christian music. His song, Peace Be Yours is published in both The Best of the Best in Contemporary Christian Worship Music and Chalice Praise.
