Payment and Insurance

Session Options

 

Inquiry Visit  

  • Approximately 30 minutes at $2 per minute, 

  • a get acquainted opportunity to determine a client's compatability with the counselor.

 

​Counseling/Coaching  

  • A standard session is 53-55 minutes

  • Shorter appointments can be arranged for an alternate fee

 

Intake

  • An initial intake/psychological assessment of 80 minutes may be required for counseling clients.

Payment 
  • The fee for a standard session of psychotherapy is based on a 53-55 minute counseling session. 
  • If mental health services are included in your insurance, they will cover a portion of that fee, the amount being dependent upon your policy. 
  • Discounts are given for direct pay with cash, credit or check.
  • Payment is to be made at the time of service.
  • Shorter appointments can be arranged for an alternate fee.
  • Reduced fees are available on a limited basis based upon your annual household income and number of individuals in your household.
  • Contact the Live Well office for specific fees.



Insurance 

  • Blue Cross, Cigna, United Health, Magellan 

  • Other insurances are being added - please email or call to inquire

  • Out of network insurance is available with most companies

  • Copays are expected at the time of service

  • Clients are strongly encouraged to make a phone call to the number listed on your insurance card  to verify your mental health benefits and responsibilities.

 

Cash and Credit/Debit 

  • Payment is required at the time of service

  • Discounts are given for cash and credit card payments

  • Discover, Mastercard and Visa are accepted
